These designs are quiet and efficient, but a repair often starts with electronics and error codes rather than an obviously worn part. We read the codes, test the components behind them, and check the basics like airflow, water supply and drainage before replacing anything expensive.
The LG problems we see most
On refrigerators, a warm fresh-food section with a freezer that is also struggling can point to a failing linear compressor, though we rule out fans, sensors and dirty condenser coils first. Ice makers that freeze into a solid block usually trace back to warm air leaking past a door seal or a defrost problem. Washer drain and spin errors are often caused by a clogged pump filter, a kinked drain hose or an unbalanced load, and sometimes by a failing pump.
